A simplified procedure for organic phosphorus determination from phospholipids.

Abstract

We describe an improved method for the determination of organic phosphorus from phospholipids. It is the combination of a very fast mineralization step followed by the estimation of liberated phosphate by means of malachite green. This method is accurate, simple, and sensitive.
