Abstract
We present MR findings in 3 surgically proved cases of pituitary abscess. All lesions were seen as a sellar cystic mass with a thin rim of enhancement. In addition, the pituitary stalk was thickened in 2 cases in which central diabetes insipidus developed. These findings may be suggestive of pituitary abscess.Entities:
