Abstract
The retrospective study of our patients operated on for an idiopathic macular hole shows 2 cases of presumed exudative retinal detachment appearing 24 to 36 hours after surgery. This complication, to our knowledge, has never been reported. We describe these 2 cases and discuss on one hand, the arguments for an exudative etiology of the retinal detachment, and on the other hand, the possible causes of this unusual complication.Entities:
