Capacity building in the new South Africa: contribution of nursing research.

Abstract

In this article, the author identifies the contribution of nursing research to building the capacity of healthcare services to care for the people of the Republic of South Africa. The author specifies the areas where nursing research can make a significant contribution and makes recommendations for enhancing nursing research in the emerging republic.
