Alcoholism, cigarette smoking, coffee drinking and extraversion.

Abstract

Alcoholic patients smoked significantly more cigarettes and drank more cups of coffee than nonalcoholic psychiatric patients even when the higher extraversion scores of the alcoholics, as measured by the Eysenck Personality Inventory, were statistically controlled.
