Abstract
Direct connections of the central medial, parafascicular and central lateral nuclei of the thalamus with the rostral and caudal parts of the head and the body of the caudate nucleus were studied. The study has revealed that only the central nucleus of the three concerned intralaminar nuclei of the thalamus is projected on the caudate nucleus, head and body. The central medial and parafascicular nucleus of the thalamus does not seem to have direct connections with the caudate nucleus.Entities:
