Abstract
There are obviously fundamental differences between MS and SCI in pathology and in the kinds of symptoms; there are also many similarities. If the spinal cord is a prime focus of attack by the autoimmune processes that underlie MS, many of the symptoms produced thereby are the same as those we are accustomed to treating in people with SCI. MS is a more common illness than SCI, and a devastating one. It is one that all of those who manage patients with spinal cord impairments need to become increasingly familiar with.Entities:
