Abstract
The health services often struggle in their attempts to engage and support fathers. This paper describes the piloting of a small group for the fathers of children with a disability, in this case Down Syndrome. The group is described from conception to conclusion and limitations of the study are discussed. The group approach meets a need for a proportion of fathers who prove able to explore their experiences and feelings.Entities:
