Abstract
In patients who have undergone menisectomy, isometric strength of the extensor and flexor muscles of the knee improves more rapidly when flexion exercises are encouraged. Immobilizing the knee joint in a back-slab and restricting the patient to static bracing of the quadriceps delays the recovery of strength, particularly in the more flexed positions of the knee joint.Entities:
