[Non-Hodgkin lymphoma of the conjunctiva (MALT lymphoma)--clinical and pathological markers].

Abstract

BACKGROUND: Lymphoid tumors of the conjunctiva are extremely rare. Primarily such tumors can appear as isolated neoplasm or secondarily within a systemic disease. PATIENTS: The difficulties relating to dignity of the clinical diagnosis and the histological examination of the biopsies are presented. Both patients received orbital radiation therapy.
RESULTS: The therapeutically success and clinical course are reported.
