Abstract
The literature on the use of allozyme electrophoresis in the identification of species of helminths was selectively examined. Difficulties encountered in deciding upon the extent of genetic differences which indicate the existence of separate helminth species, the application of the criterion of sympatry and the problems for nomenclature are discussed.Mesh:
