Abstract
Thrombolytic therapy was given to a 77-year-old man with typical ischemic chest pain and unequivocal electrocardiographic ST-segment elevations at the emergency department. The diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction was excluded during hospitalization and the patient was found to have apical hypertrophic cardiomyopathy with apical aneurysm formation and mid-ventricular obstruction.Entities:
