Abstract
The technique of fluorescence immunolocalization has evolved steadily since its first application in the mid-1960s, incorporating innovations in probe chemistry, microscopy, and image detection. This chapter provides an overview of the current status of indirect immunofluorescence for those starting to use the method. It includes both general considerations from cell culture to image detection and several protocols that should serve as an entry point for this technique.Mesh:
