Primary scrotal malignant melanoma. Report of 2 cases and review of the literature.

Tumours involving the scrotum are rare and primary malignant melanoma is among the rarest of these lesions. Between 1949 and 1996 only 7 cases have been reported. We present two cases of scrotal melanoma. The current recommendations and management strategies are discussed on the basis of a review of the literature.
