[The place of the action of the serotoninergic system in the 2-stage process of the formation of latent inhibition in rats].

Activation of rat brain serotonergic system (injections of a selective serotonin reuptake blocker sertralin) at the stage of pre-exposition of the situation stimulus (placing into the illuminated compartment of the dark-light shuttle-box) intensified subsequent development of the latent inhibition at the stage of conditioning, which was measured by the latent period of transition to the dark compartment during the first testing after reinforcement of such transition with electrical shock.
