[From the classification of dysarthria to therapeutic concepts].

The wide definition of dysarthria includes not only involvement of speech and language, but also of the voice. The authors put forward a classification which is based more logically on the mechanisms of the disorders as they present, and which can at the same time serve as a guide to treatment.
