Abstract
Much of the recent change in the management of brain tumors in children has centered on the expanded use of chemotherapy. The addition of chemotherapy has resulted in better survival rates for children with medulloblastoma and altered the management for those with low-grade gliomas. For other tumor types, therapeutic advances have been slower. High-dose chemotherapy increasingly is being employed to treat malignant childhood tumors, with variable results.Entities:
