Abstract
A case of bowel perforation during diagnostic colonoscopy is reported. This resulted in the sudden appearance of massive subcutaneous emphysema of the neck, causing acute upper airway obstruction which necessitated urgent endotracheal intubation. Large bilateral pneumothoraces and pneumomediastinum were also present.Entities:
