Abstract
Twenty-one of 40 rats fed phenacetin in the diet for up to 86 weeks developed urothelial hyperplasia of the renal papillae. Two of 30 rats in the control group had similar changes associated with chronic pyelitis. The difference is statistically significant (p less than 0.01).Entities:
