Abstract
We report a case of epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (EHE) arising in the left elbow of a 67-year-old woman. The tumor was characterized by centrifugal growth and association with the brachial artery, causing complete occlusion. Immunohestochemical and electron microscopical features were typical of EHE. The patient was free of local recurrence or disease metastasis for more than 3 years after tumor resection, but subsequently died of respiratory failure due to a primary lung cancer.Entities:
