Abstract
This article examines several types of injuries about the distal ulna that appear in children. Ulnar styloid fractures are relatively common and tend not to have the deforming potential of Salter-Harris-type injuries. Physeal injuries with their potential for long-term growth impairment and functional limitation are potentially the most serious. Chronic stress injuries at the distal ulna, as seen in competitive gymnasts, and chronic late disruption of the distal radio-ulnar joint are also discussed.Entities:
