Abstract
Weakness and wasting of shoulder girdle muscles occurred in 40 cases of cervical spondylosis at the level C 3/4 intervertebral space with spinal cord, and lower with nerve root compression. Often there was no sensory loss. Prompt recovery followed Cloward's operation in more than half the cases. The pathogenesis and the need for early diagnosis and radical treatment of the condition are considered.Entities:
