[Successful therapy of phenprocoumon poisoning with plasmapheresis].

V Gläser1, R Seifert.

Abstract

UNLABELLED: A case report demonstrates a possibility of successful treatment in a patient with high-dosage phenprocoumon intoxication.
CONCLUSION: The use of plasmapheresis is an appropriate method to treat phenprocoumon-intoxicated patients by exchange of endogenous with supplied fresh frozen plasma.
