Abstract
A patient with nasopharyngeal carcinoma developed atypical parapharyngeal-lesion syncope syndrome associated with stereotypical cycles of heart rate variation, which occurred only when he was drowsy before falling asleep. Vagal tone fluctuation is implicated.Entities:
