Abstract
Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a common problem that begins early in life and in many cases persists through the life span. Psychostimulants have been the psychopharmacologic treatment of choice. Not all patients respond to psychostimulants, and some patients have significant side effects. This paper reviews the use of a nonstimulant psychopharmacologic agent, bupropion, to treat ADHD in both children and adults.Entities:
