Haliclorensin, a Novel Diamino Alkaloid from the Marine Sponge Haliclonatulearensis

.

Abstract

Haliclorensin (1), a novel diamino alkaloid possessing an azacyclodecane ring, has been isolated from the sponge Haliclona tulearensis. Its structure was elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data, as well as by comparison with gamma-amino azacycloalkanes.
