Abstract
Severe chronic constipation presents a significant management problem which may, occasionally, necessitate surgical intervention. Rarely emergency surgery is required and we report a case in which emergency subtotal colectomy was indicated to treat faecal peritonitis secondary to stercoral ulceration.Entities:
