Surgical technique/post-transplant surgical complications.

M D Odland.

Renal transplantation has become a common form of therapy for the patient with end-stage renal disease. The operative procedure has been refined and is discussed. Fortunately, surgical complications requiring therapy are unusual. An overview of the surgical complications, including etiology and therapeutic options, is presented.
