Abstract
Because the arrangement of the remaining dentition may vary tremendously, the design of a removable partial denture is complicated with regard to function, esthetics, hygiene and oral comfort. Part One of this article, published in the January/February issue of JDT discussed how disassembling the RPD into its structural components and defining their functions could help the dental technician with RPD planning. Part two discusses the connection of partial frameworks to the remaining dentition and breaks down the components of a combination case.Mesh:
