Abstract
Merkel's cell carcinoma is an uncommon neuroendocrine cutaneous neoplasm. An unusual mode of dissemination of this tumor is the phenomenon of in-transit metastases. We report complete resolution of in-transit metastases from a Merkel's cell carcinoma in response to treatment with isolated hyperthermic limb perfusion with melphalan. Limb perfusion appears to be a promising modality for such lesions.Entities:
