Abstract
A simple and rapid methodology for the preparation of single-cell suspension from animal tissues is described. It uses a device called a "tissue press" to mince the tissue into small pieces of desired sizes which are then dissociated into single cells using a pipette. The device is inexpensive and the method economizes time and labor. An example of its use in DNA double-strand breaks study, using microgel electrophoresis, is described.Entities:
