Abstract
A case of mitochondrial myopathy in a 51-year-old woman is reported. External ophthalmoplegia, presence of persistent thymus and electrophysiologic investigation suggested myasthenia gravis. Electron microscopic examination of muscle biopsy showed changes typical of mitochondrial myopathy.Entities:
