Familial exudative vitreo-retinopathy.

J Dudgeon.

Abstract

Two brothers aged 18 and 14 years showing the features of familial exudative vitreo-retinopathy are described and the treatment of the condition discussed. Two of their cousins aged 9 and 7 1/2 years who showed the presence of congenital retinal folds are also described, and a possible link between the two conditions is postulated. The differential diagnosis is briefly discussed.
