Abstract
Obturator hernia is extremely rare and represents a therapeutic and diagnostic challenge. The diagnosis is infrequently made preoperatively because of the nonspecific clinical and radiologic signs that in turn delay the surgical treatment, which is responsible for the known increase in morbidity and mortality. Herein a case is presented of a patient with an incarcerated obturator hernia that was diagnosed and successfully treated using laparoscopic surgery.Entities:
