Abstract
Extremely small concentrations (1 ng/kg/min) of prostaglandins E1, A1, and A2 elevated arterial blood pressure in the rat when infused into the carotid artery. Similar infusions into the femoral vein failed to demonstrate a pressor response. Higher concentrations of the same prostaglandins infused into the femoral vein resulted in a significant depression of blood pressure.Entities:
