Abstract
This study describes in detail the technique and results of on-line multiplane transesophageal echocardiographic guidance of balloon mitral commissurotomy in 150 consecutive patients with symptomatic mitral stenosis. The mitral valve area improved significantly and there were no in-hospital deaths, strokes, or emergency valve operations.Entities:
