Abstract
During the past several years technological advances have led to the development of small diameter endoscopes (minilaparoscopes) which facilitate the performance of laparoscopy under local anesthesia. Minilaparoscopy promises many advantages and less complications. Today, indications of minilaparoscopy are mainly diagnostic and minimal interventions but technological development and clinical studies might reveal it as a substitute for conventional laparoscopy.Mesh:
