Abstract
In the absence of ethical standards and in the presence of a competitive marketplace, managed care has effectively compromised the physician-patient relationship. The nurse-physician collaborative practices advocate optimal health care and offer a solution to the deteriorating physician-patient relationship. Collaborative practices that promote the highest level of clinical practice will help counterattack the negative effects of managed care.Entities:
