Abstract
A case of spontaneous rupture of the uterine artery in the third trimester of pregnancy is described. Review of the literature reveals only three similar cases. Clinical signs are sudden abdominal pain with hemodynamic collapse and a decrease in the level of hemoglobin. Treatment consists in performing a laparotomy with suturing of the ruptured artery.Entities:
