Abstract
Parkinson's disease (PD) is one of the most common neurodegenerative diseases and affects 150 to 200 people per 100,000 population. Rapid advances have been made in the neurobiology of PD; this disorder is now recognized as a model of dysfunction in fronto-striatal circuits expressed by motor and behavioral symptoms. Several clinical and surgical strategies for the management of PD are discussed.Entities:
