[Heterotopic pregnancy: report of a case and review of the literature].

A case of spontaneous tubal heterotopic pregnancy in primigest patient with survival of intrauterine conception is presented. She was treated in H.G.Z.M.F. No. 8 IMSS in Ciudad Sahagún Hgo. The frequency antecedents, clinical picture, auxiliary methods of diagnosis and therapy are discussed. It is concluded that the heterotopic pregnancy is a rare illness, but it can occur, and is potentially dangerous to the mother and intrauterine conception. The instant detection improves the prognosis.
