Abstract
A 38-year-old patient with a grade 3 testicular varicocele was treated by antegrade scrotal sclerotherapy. Although performed technically accurate, antegrade sclerotherapy led to a haemorrhagic infarction of the testis by complete occlusion of venous drainage. The testis had to be removed. This complication has not been described yet and patients should be informed about this rare event.Entities:
