Abstract
Alternatives to corticosteroids for the treatment of sarcoidosis are reviewed. These include cytotoxic agents such as methotrexate, azathioprine, and cyclophosphamide. In addition, agents such as hydroxychloroquine and cyclosporine are reviewed. The efficacy, toxicity, and timing of these drugs in the management of sarcoidosis is discussed.Entities:
