Abstract
Bleeding from the gastrointestinal tract due to hepatocellular carcinoma invasion is unusual. We describe a 71-year-old man who had bloody stools caused by a hepatocellular carcinoma that directly invaded the transverse colon. The diagnosis was confirmed by colonoscopy and tissue examination. Our patient is the first with lower gastrointestinal bleeding from a hepatocellular carcinoma during the natural course of the tumor.Entities:
