[Determination of distal latency of the motor nerves of the hand].

The authors show the methodological problems connected with the determination of distal latency and the possibility of misinterpretation. They recommend the use of concentric needle electrodes together with surface electrodes for the determination of the distal latency of the hand nerves and also to always register both nerves.
