Abstract
A clinical chemical survey is given of the complex of factors which are involved during development of clinically manifest hypotony or atony of the abomasum prior to abomasal displacemnts. The importance of a change in the acid-base balance of the animals is especially stressed as a predisposing factor. The further pathogenesis of abomasal displacement is supposed to follow different ways, according to the feeding and to prevailing periods of indigestion.Entities:
