Abstract
Anisakiasis is a parasitic infestation of increasing incidence in Spain. The case of a 75-years-old male diagnosed with gastric anisakiasis by endoscopy is presented. This case presents some peculiarities such as the previous ingestion of undercooked microwaved fish and the posterior serologic study (determination of IgE specific for Anisakis simplex) which confirmed the diagnosis. The importance of the endoscopic techniques in the diagnosis and treatment of gastric anisakiasis is emphasized.Entities:
