[Lobectomy by video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery].

Abstract

Lobectomy by video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) has been marked by decrease in pain, morbility, hospital stay, bleeding, and transfusion. This new way approach was performed on 10 dogs and 21 patients. In this paper we discuss how to deal with pulmonary vessels, bronchus and fissure. We suggested that Stage I lung cancer and lung disease were indicated of lobectomy by VATS.
