Abstract
To help in risk management, the author reviews areas of liability exposure that lie outside the familiar, "mainstream" issues for mental health clinicians. Three such areas are addressed: supervision issues, motor-vehicle driving cases, and so-called "pure" boundary violation cases. In each of these areas, the theoretical underpinning is provided and specific strategies to diminish liability exposure are described.Entities:
