Abstract
The leukemias and lymphomas together account for over 40% of the malignant disorders in childhood. Radiologists who deal with these patients must understand some aspects of the biology, natural history, and clinical manifestations of the disease in order to provide useful imaging consultative services. This article summarizes these issues briefly, gives an overview of the common imaging appearances, and recommends imaging studies to be utilized in the initial staging evaluation of newly presenting patients.Entities:
